Meet Brendan, a true Riverina local with an impressive 35-year journey that has woven him into the fabric of this region, from his early days to his current role with BG Finance.
Brendan's extensive experience spans from the heart of the Riverina to the bustling streets of Melbourne, where he has held Senior Management roles and directed his own successful transport and storage business for almost a decade. This endeavour served as a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit.
Brendan ventured into the Equipment Finance Industry in 2011, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and insights into the challenges and needs of businesses. Having been a business owner himself, Brendan knows what it takes to achieve the best outcomes for clients, and he is committed to making it happen every time.
Brendan's dedication to meeting clients' expectations in a timely and professional manner is what sets him apart. He takes immense pride in his long-standing relationships with his clients and is equally excited to welcome new ones into the fold.
Teaming up with his son, Michael, Brendan is all in for growing BG Finance Services. Their shared focus is on empowering and supporting regional businesses, contributing to their continued growth and prosperity.
Michael Gibbons

Michael was born and raised in regional NSW and has been instilled with a strong work ethic from an early age, helping in his family’s transport and grain storage business.
Football has always been Michael's passion, and when his family moved to Albury in 2011, he joined the Murray Bushrangers for two incredible years, eventually captaining the team.
In 2013, he moved to Melbourne, marking the start of a significant chapter in Michael's life. For a decade, he made Melbourne his home and made a name for himself on and off the field. Michael played five seasons with the Williamstown FC in the VFL, earning accolades like a premiership win, the Norm Goss Medal, and two JJ Liston Medals.
During his time in Melbourne, he also ventured into the construction industry, specialising in flooring, as well as taking on a Project management job in civil construction, all while pursuing a business management degree at La Trobe University.
In 2018, the Carlton Football Club recognised Michael's talent, giving him an opportunity at AFL level where he spent 3.5 memorable years with the team, achieving 47 games for the Navy Blues.
In April 2023, he began his Certificate 4 in banking and equipment finance, marking a new direction in his career, combining his passion for finance with his leadership skills. In June, Michael returned to Yarrawonga where he completed his Certificate 4 and started working alongside his father at BG Finance.
